ShortcutMan.G in your hands! Looking for a programmer!

Loading ... Loading ... So…as you all know (if you don’t know, then you should :P), I released a project, some time ago, named ShortcutMan.G.
ShortcutMan.G (or SMG) is an application that is able to store your shortcuts so you can keep your desktop a little cleaner.
The last released version was 2.0, which was able to store a maximum of 20 shortcuts.
I then started working on version 3.0, but then I got into college, and started learning C, and this, and that…and I just stopped working in SMG.
Personally, It think it is a shame because the application was getting known and was starting to appear in bigger sites like softpedia, freewarefiles and others…currently it has about 800 downloads.

So…this is what I though.
I’m looking for a programmer (visual basic.net 2005) to continue the project and finish version 3.0.
However, the project/programmer will have to follow some ‘rules’:

- There will be no earnings with this project. This means you get no money for finishing it (neither do I);
- This application is and will always be freeware, so you will not be able to commercialize it;
- I intend to make it open-source (I’m still thinking about it);
- You will need some previous knowledge and experience in visualbasic.net 2005 (you don’t need an advanced knowledge though…but you need some experience
);
- You will need some patience to understand the code and continue where I left;
- You will have to follow a “pre-made feature list” that I had planned to do for version 3.0 (you can had extra features…if I approve them…see next point);
- New ideas can only be executed if two parts (me and you) are in agreement;
- Copyright will always have my name in it in future versions (and yours of course);
- You will have to finish the rest of the project alone probably (this means I will not help you…that’s why I’m posting this).

And that’s all I can remember for now.
So…if you like the idea and you would like to join me in this project you can contact me at webmaster@crwld.org.

You can get more information about this project at crwld.org/smg.

I hope I get some proposals because I would really like to see another version on the net.

Take care!
