If you still didn’t know…it’s true. On June 30, microsoft plans to quit on XP and no more copies of this product will be sold.
The big company is betting on Vista but apparently, users and clients are not very satisfied with this decision. There’s even a ‘SAVE XP’ petition already with 21,572 signatures.
Most people say “Vista sucks”: companies say that Vista is not reliable and developers think not even Vista SP1 will beat XP. In a recent poll of more than 250 of XP clients, PatchLink noted that only 2 percent said they are already running Vista. The others will stick to XP or just move themselves to Linux/MacOS.
It looks like Vista has too many bugs, vulnerabilities, and malware that just don’t get fixed. Even the updates can lead your PC to blue screens.
In my case, I can say I tried Vista but in a few weeks I had enough of it. Currently I’m on XP/Fedora.
