Oh God…!
I remember the good old days, when I use to spend my time playing games like Biomenace. I played this game so many times…and now, more than 15 years later, looking back to it and playing it again…well that’s cool!
I mean…this are the kind of games that will never leave your head. It’s not a 3d game, with a surreal graphic engine, or an amazing physics…it’s just a few bad colored pixels, with a “system sound” theme (very good to hear though), and probably a lot lines of code. It’s not a game where you have a world to explore, or a million things to do and choose from…but damn…this is a game! and may I say…a very good one!
At least for me it was, and still is. I remember the time I had to initiate windows with the console, or insert a disk and write ‘dir p’ just to play games like this one.
This is a classic. I mean…I shure enjoy doing some head shots in CoD2, or explore the amazing world of San Andreas…but I think those games will never get into me like games like Biomenace did. It’s funny how simple games with bad quality audio, and bad quality graphics can give you so much pleasure like a kick ass graphics and audio game.
Those were good times…oh yeah they were.
So…I’ll be posting some classical DOS/WIN games once in a while, just like this one so you can remember the good old days. The first one is Biomenace.
